This vacation home, located in the sleepy upstate New York community of Copake, was in dire need of a renovation. The project, a joint effort with our partner, The Riverview Company, was a complete overhaul of the home's exterior, creating a new side entry, adding a screened porch to the rear, and opening up the rear elevation with windows and doors to properly orient the home to the lake views.

On the interior, we opened up the stair, re-designed the main spaces with new trim and casework, and remodeled the Kitchen. We agreed with the owner that the dazzling star pendants needed to remain as a nod to the original 70s architecture.

The renovation included a new high efficiency boiler with radiant flooring on the first floor and increased wall floor and roof insulation, window upgrades and weather-sealing throughout.
